I have heard a lot of rumours that Senator Obama has Arab heritage, but I thought it was all rumors.
It turns out the evidence speaks clearly, Obama is only a small portion Tribal African. If you search the internet, you will find a bazillion articles testifying to the fact.

Before all the Obamiacs jump on the answer, the Kenyan Obamas are listed in the Kenyan census as Arab African not as Tribal ‘Black’ African. His father’s great great grandmother was a Tribal African.
“Therefore by ethnic lines the Senator is 50% Caucasian, 43.75% Arab, and 6.25% Black African
I am surprised by this simply because I have never heard Obama clarify this point. What surprises me about this is, why would he mislead us? Personally for me, I don’t care about his ancestry. And I would not suggest that he would make poor decisions about Middle East policy merely because of his blood, as many have suggested.
I suppose I do understand he might not want to parade himself around as the first Arab minority nominated for office. Playing it low key is probably best. I suppose there is significant vote to be won if people generally think he is half black. However, if I were a black American, I don’t know I would buy that argument either, as Obama is clearly white by his culture and upbringing.
But I suppose the American election is generally not about people thinking and making informed decisions. I believe it is often compared to a popularity contest. So in hindsight, I suppose I should not be surprised by him looking the other way on this issue. You don’t get popular by driving a hard line based on principle.
Look what that got Bush when he tried to stick with our commitment to invade & occupy Iraq. I personally feel we have an obligation to do a good job and rebuild the country after we committed to invade.

I realized today that Senator Obama is African American. His father was African, his mother is American. He holds a legitimate claim to the terminology.
Unfortunately, the term is also commonly used synonymously with being a Black American. So we have confusion because our terminology is rife with ambiguity.
But my fellow Americans, I think we all know the truth. Eminem is more black than Obama.
